Listed on the City of Phoenix Historic Register, the Sun Dee House was relocated from its original location as part of the Portland on the Park project and converted into a single family, custom home with a free‐standing 2‐car garage addition.

Sold as the most expensive home in Roosevelt Row HistoricDistrict at the time of completion,

the Sun Dee House was originally a 4‐plex apartment unit. Before any construction could begin on

the 69‐year‐old building, it first had to be structurally reinforced, lifted from its foundations, and slowly

moved across the street to its new resting place on the corner of 3rd street and Portland.
